I have visited dozens of museums around the world, always feeling humbled at the thought of exhibiting my own art one day.
When I planted my own garden, I discovered that even a small piece of land can fascinate and inspire an artist every day of the year. I took thousands of photos of my plants before realizing that what I truly wanted was to transform them into art.
With my background in graphic design, I quickly rekindled my passion for drawing. Numerous watercolor lessons from contemporary masters helped me develop new skills and find my personal style.
Whether it is a petal from a flower or a pebble from the beach, there is always a unique pattern of details that sets each one apart while also connecting them to others. Drawing and painting these natural elements enhances our ability to observe. My dream is to help people see the beauty in the intricate details of every creation in nature.
My garden (see the watercolor below) is a constant source of inspiration. During the winter and spring months, I watch as the plants awaken and emerge from the ground. In the summer, I enjoy observing how sunlight alters the colors of the flower petals and leaves. Fall is when I carefully select subjects for future paintings and organize my photo reference collection. Throughout all seasons, I sketch from nature to accurately capture realistic colors and forms.
I invite you to visit my Gallery page and browse through my works. Let me know what you like and what you think about them.
